Il mio progetto fotografico per Oliving Apartments nasce dal desiderio di portare la bellezza del Lago di Garda direttamente all’interno degli spazi che accolgono gli ospiti, attraverso una serie di fotografie di paesaggio realizzate su misura. Ci troviamo a Lazise, in una posizione che regala una vista straordinaria sul Lago di Garda.

C'è una magia antica in questi luoghi, quella che i latini chiamavano Genius Loci: lo spirito custode di un territorio. È proprio questa essenza che ho voluto catturare e portare dentro gli appartamenti, creando un filo invisibile, un dialogo silenzioso ma vibrante tra il paesaggio e l'intimità delle stanze.

Le mie fotografie raccontano la poesia del Garda: le colline disegnate dagli olivi, gli antichi edifici in pietra e la quiete delle rive. Per farlo, ho cercato il silenzio. Il mio sguardo ha scelto di escludere la presenza umana per lasciare spazio alla natura, muovendosi solo nel momento in cui la luce si fa mistica: alle prime ore del mattino o con la luce calda e morbida del tramonto. Il risultato sono immagini sospese nel tempo, che evocano la quiete e che accompagnano con delicatezza il soggiorno degli ospiti di Oliving.

My photographic project for Oliving Apartments arises from a desire to bring the beauty of the Garda Lake directly into the spaces that welcome guests, through a series of custom-made landscape photographs. The apartments are located in Lazise, in a setting that offers an extraordinary view of the Garda Lake.

There is an ancient magic in these places—what the Latins called Genius Loci: the guardian spirit of a territory. It is precisely this essence that I wanted to capture and bring into the apartments, creating an invisible thread, a silent yet vibrant dialogue between the landscape and the intimacy of the rooms.

My photographs convey the poetry of Garda Lake: the hills dotted with olive trees, the ancient stone buildings, and the tranquility of the shores. To achieve this, I sought out silence. My gaze deliberately excluded human presence to focus on nature, capturing moments only when the light takes on a mystical quality: in the early morning hours or in the warm, soft light of sunset. The result is a series of images suspended in time, evoking tranquility and gently accompanying the stay of Oliving’s guests.
